Be.Do.Have Model Webinar: July 2,2020 by Angela Braun

I attended the Be. Do. Have Model webinar last week. Here are my takeaways:

“Be” the want that you want.

“Do” from that state of being.

This allows us to get what we have.

How you live now as how you show up in the future. Often we bring the past into the future.

Foundational Platforms

  1. Vision: Where do you want to go?
  2. Create: what that person of who and what you want to be. What is this person like? If you know someone and you like their qualities and successes, ask them about what they do. DO NOT say ” let me pick your brain” . No one likes that. Instead begin with ” You inspire me… ” and go from there.
  3. Visualize: and take action. Picture what your life looks like in 5 years. Who will you want to spend time with? What is the relationship you want with money? How do you picture yourself walking in a room?

Show up like a leader who needs to be in the role you have created.

Personal Branding: What you say about yourself.

Personal Brand: What people say about you.

Don’t fall into imposter syndrome (although, it does happen to everyone). Imposter syndrome is the feelign you have not earned your success and this is totally normal.

Keep your “blindspots” open. Afterall, we have “blindspots” for a reason as we do not want to deal with that issue.

Happy Monday!

Hard work pays off!

Happiest of anniversaries to Cathryn (Callahan) + Chris Erickson!.

A little over 3 years ago, we found ourselves doing conference calls while Cathryn + Chris were in New York (sometimes catching Cathryn in a cab), Valerie (MOB) was in Virginia and we were in Austin. The thoughtful conversations provoked many discussions of the vision that their wedding would be. The relationship grew to the point where we had the honor of selecting Team Cathryn + Chris.

I love when people say how they “LOVE LOVE LOVE how it all comes together”. It makes me giggle because the amount of hands | conversations | attention (and perhaps a bit of babysitting) required seems like it goes unnoticed (but it does not:)). This vision was achieved by the collaboration of us with David Kurio Designs (David), First In Last Out Productions (Howard) and Premiere Events (Ken). The Driskill Hotel hit it out of the park with the service of all guests at the same time (and til this day was one of my most favorite things to witness). Seeing is believing at the video link below:

Crescent Video Productions (Gary + Diane) and Jennifer Lindberg Weddings (Jenn + Jim) effortlessly captured each moment to be remembered.

Cathryn + Chris are celebrating their 3rd anniversary with their sweet little Liam and Riggs the ringdogbearer.

What is a bride to do during Covid? So many questions and not enough answers!

In our casual fireside chat video session this week (and yes, my comfy shirt says “wake me when baseball season starts again”, I answered the three questions that couples continue to ask regarding COVID and their event.

Since we are sitting in on many webinars and the restrictions + content seems to be constantly changing, feel free to email us at contact@myplatinumevent.com and we will do our best to help you find the answers you are looking for!
