If you haven’t heard the fabulous news, we’ll fill you in! Platinum Weddings and Events has been asked to put together an inspiration area for a brand new venue, Thistlewood Manor & Garden’s, Grand Reveal! We are squealing with excitement!!

The first thing we did was put together an inspiration team of some of the best Austin wedding vendors out there! This includes, Premiere Events,Photogenica Photobooth, Piq Chocolates, The Marvelous Vintage Tea Party, WOW Factor Design, and last but certainly not least, the amazing, Kurt Grein.

Secondly, we turned to Pinterest for some design ideas! Thistlewood Manor & Gardens is a French style manor with a beautiful grand staircase and gorgeous chandeliers (which were obsessed with!!). The romance and ambiance of this chateau is simply enchanting! We can’t wait to show you this elegant new venue on Sunday, October 12th, from 1-5pm!

Pictures below are from our French Wedding Inspiration Pinterest board! For more, follow us on Pinterest 🙂

Wouldn't it be cheaper for builders to replace some walls with all windows-why don't they? Much better.

Mint Color Inspiration

Who’s ready for a Mojito?  Maybe a Mint Julep?  What about using the color mint as an accent or choice for your upcoming event?  And just think, you can add in a signature drink to tie in.

Mint is a great color to mix with other bold, bright, or subtle colors to create a great late spring/summer look.  Of course dessert comes to mind and who doesn’t love the combination of chocolate and mint?  How about with some summer fruit, or as a garnish to a grooms cake?

Looking for more inspiration, give us a shout to help design your next event.
