Weddings definitely look a bit different now. Whether they are called “micro matrimonies”, “wee weddings”, or “petite parties”, it is good to see events slowing coming regardless of the scale they are. The best part of this job is the rush. It appears (no matter how organized you are) that everyone in the event industry is in a rush to get answers, a rush to get things done and the rush of emotions that flood an event. It is magical. This rush is what makes event professionals be creative, inspire others and just simply love their job. At this time, we all have to still embrace our rush but be very cognizant of the state of the union. However, we cannot let this diminish the very reason why we do it. Continue to be safe and don’t forget why you started doing this in the very first place.
